1.) Unboxing & Set-Up:
This Concrete Tabletop Fireplace kit includes a concrete fire pit, a concrete base, a cedar lid for snuffing flames, extra silicone foot pads, instructional guidelines, and a thorough safety manual.

Choose an outdoor location with ample open space and a flat, level, horizontal surface, away from flammables, youngsters, and pets.

Place the fireplace on its designated base for stability and surface protection.

2.) Fueling the Fireplace:

Set the fire pit on flat and level surface.

Slowly pour 70% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) into the fireplace chamber, leaving a bit of space at the top; not filled to the brim.

3.) Ignition & Experience:

Light up with a long lighter/match. If it's cold out, you may have to hold your match or lighter flame on the alcohol for up to 20 seconds to get flame going. Watch the dancing wall of flames ignite. Do not open or leave fuel near the fireplace while it is lit. Do not lean over fire pit.

4.) Safety First & Always:
Maintain stability: Never move the fireplace when lit or still warm.

Fuel wisely: Always fill slowly and with caution, never add fuel while the fire is burning or the flame is live, and avoid other accelerants.

Stay vigilant: A watchful eye ensures safe and enjoyable moments. Do not use in small, enclosed spaces. Never leave a live flame unattended.

Wind down: To extinguish, place the cedar lid over the fireplace, fully covering it. Allow a cooling period before storing or refueling. Do not store fuel in the fire pit.

5.) Additional Cautionary Statement: Isopropyl alcohol fire pits can pose significant risks, especially when flammable liquid is added to a live flame. Never attempt to add fuel to a burning fireplace. Doing so can cause large fires and endanger everyone in the vicinity.

2.) FUELING & IGNITION

Use Recommended Fuel Only: Only use 70% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). Other fuels can cause uncontrollable and dangerous burns.

Fueling: Slowly pour your alcohol into the chamber. Do not fill to the top or overfill. Never add fuel to a burning or hot fire pit.

Avoid spills. Wipe away any spillage before ignition.

Keep fuel container closed and away from the fire pit during use.

Ignition: Use a long lighter or match to avoid injury.

Never use short matches or cigarette lighters. Do not lean over fire pit while igniting.

Never move or add fuel while the fire pit is lit.

Never add fuel to a live flame.

3.) DURING USE

Supervision & Vigilance: Never leave the fire pit unattended when in use.

Ensure a responsible, sober adult is present at all times.

Air Flow: Avoid use in high winds to prevent rapid fuel consumption and the potential for the unwanted spread of flames.

Handling: Do not move the fire pit when it is lit or still hot. If alcohol spills, flames will follow and spread.

Use heat-resistant gloves if adjusting or moving is absolutely necessary.

Never add fuel while the fire pit is lit.

Always supervise the fire pit when in use.

Do not move, touch, or tilt the fire pit when it's lit or hot.

4.) EXTINGUISHING

Use the Lid: Use the provided cedar lid to extinguish the flame; place it over the flames and ensure it fully covers the fire pit.

No Water: Never attempt to extinguish the flame with water; it can spread the fire.

No Blowing Out: Do not blow on the flames to extinguish them; it can cause the fire to spread.

Cooling Period: Allow the fire pit to cool completely before handling or storing it.

Use the included lid to place over the fire pit and safely snuff out flames. Allow to cool before handling.

Wait for the fire pit to cool before adding more fuel or handling the fire pit.

5.) STORAGE & MAINTENANCE

Indoor Storage: Store all parts and accessories indoors when not in use to preserve quality and craftsmanship.

Cleaning: Use cool clean water and distilled white vinegar along with a soft cloth to clean the fire pit.

Inspection: Regularly inspect for any cracks or damage.

Discontinue use and contact Born Third immediately for a replacement if any abnormalities are observed.

6.) EMERGENCY MEASURES

Have an exit plan in case of emergency. Keep a fire extinguisher rated for flammable liquids (Class B) nearby when using the fire pit.

In the event of a fire emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Do not attempt to pour water on flames or blow on flames to extinguish them at any time.
